The ERS Congress is the once-a-year occasion when the world’s respiratory experts come together, to present and discuss the latest scientific and clinical advances across the entire field of respiratory medicine. It welcomes a global audience of respiratory focused professionals inclusive of clinicians, scientists and researchers, and allied healthcare professionals. As the ERS Congress reaches its 32nd year, we invite you to register for this year’s event – our first to offer both in-person or online attendance.

Location and details

Fira Fran Via is located just 3 kilometers from Barcelona’s historic city center. The expansive and modern venue is conveniently linked by the local public transport network to both the metropolitan downtown and nearby El Prat International Airport (12 km). The venue comprises of an impressive rooftop photovoltaic installation stretching across its eight inter-connected pavilions. This free-flowing design both maximizes connectivity and gives exhibitors and visitors unparalleled access to Fira Gran Via’s cutting-edge event services and logistics capacity.

How to get there from the event by airport:

The taxi ride from Barcelona airport should take around 15 minutes depending on traffic and will cost between €20-25. Please be advised that in Barcelona, there may be additional charges for suitcases, and/or extra fees for airport pick-up or nighttime fees. To reach the congress centre by taxi, instruct the driver to take you to the North Entrance of the FIRA Barcelona Gran Via, which is located on the street Carrer del Foc. This will take you to the main entrance of the ERS International Congress.
